The story of an indigenous Ese’eja child facing the death of his grandfather. During the two days that separate the two traditional funerals the child decides to go for the first time to the city, to chase his grandfather dream and set his spirit free.

Ambitious first-time film director Alex Nolan is having trouble eliciting a good and believable performance out of lovely, but inexperienced lead actress Leda Bedell. Alex decides to use unorthodox methods to coax more credible and effective acting from Leda for the crucial final scene of the horror movie they're working on together.

There is excitement in the air when a Hollywood crew comes to Lawrenceton to film a movie about the town’s sleuthy librarian, Aurora Teagarden. However, when the film’s leading lady is found murdered in her dressing room, Aurora enlists her Real Murders Club members to help gather clues. And this time around Martin is especially worried about Aurora’s safety after learning that the film’s screenwriter, who has a romantic history with her, emerges as the prime suspect.

Jack Fleece is a wannabe filmmaker who just wants to make his first movie with his friends Brandon and Isaac. But tragedy strikes when Jack finds out that he has kidney cancer. After going to his thinking place with Isaac and Brandon he decides to go ahead and make his movie like his favourite director Lloyd Kaufman, but with no equipment and money, they have to go to a local film studio to steal some equipment in the night. On the day of his premiere, Jack goes to get a check-up and is told that the cancer has spread aggressively. Jack runs off to the theatre but cannot make it inside the cinema so he turns away and goes to his thinking spot to commit suicide. After a talking down from Brandon and Isaac they arrive at the premiere.
